Lace up runners! The Carson Middle School Cross Country Team had the opportunity to learn about lift and hot air displacement Thursday morning.
They also got to walk through the inside of the nearly inflated custom running-shoe-shaped balloon before they departed for the middle school Tah-Neva Cross Country Championship held at Kahle Park at Stateline in Tahoe later Thursday afternoon.
