Twenty-eight members in four flights competed for the 2022 Genoa Lakes Ladies’ Golf Club (GLLGC) championship crown during two rounds played at the Lakes course in August.
Mary Zimmerman won the tournament with a gross, two-day score of 170. Second place honors went to Jeanne Fadem, who scored 171. First and 2nd place flight winners were: 1st flight – Elizabeth Elwell, Sherrie Millichap; 2nd flight – Sarah Flanagan, Jo Anne Hudson; 3rd flight – Jeri Mihelic, Linda Nicholudis; 4th flight – Jan Marshall, Claire Koeper.
Eleven members, age 70 and over, participated in the 2nd GLLGC Senior Cup Tournament at the Lakes course in September. Sue Hukari was the top scorer in the two-day tournament with a gross score of 179; Jeanne Fadem was the runner-up with a score of 184. Sharon Davis was the net winner with a score of 147; second place net winner was Susan MacDonald who scored 149.
