Here is the Carson City road construction report through Sunday, Sept. 30. The westbound lane on Northridge Drive will be closed between Roop Street and New Ridge Drive. A detour will be provided for westbound traffic needing to access Roop Street. There will be traffic control on Roop Street from Hot Springs Road to Winnie Lane due to the construction of bicycle and pedestrian improvements. Minor delays are possible.
There will be a possible lane closures on Roop Street between John Street and Corbett Street due to utility work. Traffic control will be in place as needed.
Airport Road will be closed intermittently between Douglas Drive and Minonee Lane due to road work. Work is expected to continue into the first week of October. Detours will be marked and riders on JAC bus routes 2A and 2B will be directed to the nearest accessible bus stop for all stops affected by the road closure.
There will be nightly lane closures on US 395 from the junction of US 50W (Spooner) to 1st Street in Minden, Sunday through Thursday, between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. There will be flagger controlled traffic.
There will be work at the following locations as a result of the Freeway Landscaping Project. Traffic control may be in effect.
– North Carson Street, in the vicinity of the freeway overpass.
– US Highway 50 in the vicinity of the Freeway. Possible lane closures at the Highway 50 Interchange.
– College Parkway in the vicinity of the Freeway. Possible lane closures at the College Parkway Interchange.
