Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called late Monday afternoon to a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in the area of South Carson Street and Fairview.
The crash was reported at 4:54 p.m. and involves a female who was struck by a vehicle, which reportedly fled the scene. The vehicle was describe as a red, older model SUV.
Carson City Fire Department paramedics treated the injured woman. Her condition was stable and non-life threatening, according to a Carson City Fire Department battalion chief.
