Division of Child and Family Services’ Carson City District Office and Common Ground Church hosted the 2026 Foster Caregiver Appreciation Party, August 22, at James Lee Park in Carson City.  The event was a day of fun, food, games and activities for foster caregivers and children in Carson City, and Storey, Lyon, Churchill and Douglas counties.

It’s beautiful to see the community come together and provide gifts to our foster families.”
