It’s with a heavy heart that we introduce our Cat of the Week, Angel. This sweet, beautiful, 4-year-old cat suddenly lost her beloved owner and companion of the last several years. Though she is currently being cared for by a loving relative, Angel needs to find a new forever home within the next couple of weeks.

Her owner’s daughter describes Angel as a wonderful companion who brought immense happiness to her mom. She adores quiet afternoons bathed in sunlight, snuggling on a warm lap, and finding peace in a safe, tranquil home. She is a true homebody who loves to snuggle in bed at night and will happily offer her belly for scratches and playtime once she gets to know and trust you. She also enjoys chasing soft, quiet toys without bells or rattles. She can use a little more exercise, so more playtime would be a good thing.

Because Angel has spent most of her life as the sole pet in a calm environment, we are hoping to find a home for her that is similar to what she has always known. She would thrive with a gentle, caring person who works from home or is a homebody, and has no other pets or young children. A regular routine and a gentle, peaceful atmosphere describes her perfect home.

Angel is currently in a private residence in Minden. We hope to find her new family and adopt her from the Minden home. This would help make her transition easier and less stressful. If you can provide the loving, quiet home Angel craves, her family would be happy to schedule a meet and greet. This Angel will make someone a truly loving companion.
