Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of August 19-25, 2024. Closures and lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— 2nd Street between Carson Street and Curry Street will be closed to westbound traffic from April 8, 2024, to June 30, 2025, for construction.
— Curry Street between Park Street and Adams St will be closed to northbound traffic from August 5, 2024, and August 23, 2024, for utility work. Follow detours.
— Curry Street between King Street and 2nd Street will be closed on Tuesday, 5:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Snyder Avenue between Center Drive and Wa-Pai-Shone Avenue will be closed to through traffic from August 5, 2024, to August 29, 2024, for utility work. Follow detours.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
— 5th Street between Carson River Road and Marsh Road will have flagger control for shoulder work, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
— Carson Street, near the intersection of Silver Oak Drive, will have shoulder work from July 29, 2024 through August 23, 2024, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
— Northbound Carson Street between Silver Oak Drive and the Holiday Inn Express will have shoulder work from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Clearview Drive between Silver Sage Drive and the I-580 overpass will have reduced lanes from July 29, 2024, to August 23, 2024, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Mallory Way near 800 Mallory Way will have reduced lanes Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Winnie Lane between Mountain Street and Carson Street will have shifting lanes and flagger control, and at all intersections from Monday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
