Julia works hard, treats people well and leads in a way that feels genuine. She is the kind of student who makes the people around her better.
Julia’s academic journey has been outstanding. With a weighted GPA near the top of her class (4.91 weighted GPA) and a challenging course load that includes six AP classes during her senior year, she has continued to raise the bar for herself. Her recognition as an AP Capstone Diploma Recipient reflects her intelligence, discipline and commitment to doing things the right way.

Julia is also a dedicated multi-sport varsity athlete, competing in both swimming and cheerleading. Whether she is leading warmups, cheering under the Friday night lights or competing at regional swim meets, Julia shows up with pride, effort and a team-first attitude. Her ability to thrive in AP classes and as a multi-sport athlete is an impressive accomplishment that says a lot about her work ethic and commitment.
Outside of athletics, Julia has made a strong impact through FBLA, where she serves as a Social Media Chapter Officer. Her creativity and leadership helped her team find success at the state level and compete nationally. She also gives back through community service, including supporting pediatric cancer patients through Cancer Kids First and bringing joy to elderly community members through Hearts and Hands. Along with her school and service commitments, Julia works as a swim instructor and lifeguard at the Carson City Aquatic Facility, where she continues to show responsibility, patience and care for others.

As a first-generation college student, Julia’s journey carries even greater meaning. She has taken on each opportunity with courage and determination, setting an example for other students who hope to follow a similar path. Her story is one of resilience, kindness and quiet strength. Julia’s hard work has opened doors across the country, including acceptances to State University of New York and Chapman University.
She has chosen to stay close to home and continue her education at the University of Nevada, Reno, where she plans to pursue a pre-dental pathway. Those who know Julia understand that her impact goes far beyond grades, awards and activities. She lifts others up, leads with kindness and leaves every place better than she finds it.
