The buzz of excited students filled the air on Bob McFadden Plaza Saturday in downtown Carson City during the Back-to-School Bash sponsored by the Carson City Classic Cinema Club and Carson City Cultural Commission.

The all-school ages event included prizes, a raffle and live music. Students could stock up on school supplies while making their way through various games and activities.

Students began with a bingo-like card that was stamped each time they visited a booth. A variety of booths had games like corn-hole, hopscotch and basketball as well as information regarding after-school programs for the upcoming year.
