A 24-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday for assault with a deadly weapon, attempted kidnapping and other alleged offenses, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report.

Following an investigation, CCSO deputies arrested Tobey McDonald Ahdunko. He was also booked for alleged domestic battery second offense, resisting an officer, drug paraphernalia possession and a bench warrant.

Deputies responded to a report of the suspect trying to force the reporting party into a car with a knife. Deputies met with the reporting party to gather information about the incident. Deputies also responded to the location where the suspect, who was on foot, were informed he was headed, which was on tribal land.

The reporting party stated she was at home with her friend when the suspect showed up drunk with a bottle of vodka demanding she drive him to the colony on tribal land. She stated she refused to take him, which angered him and he started to punch and kick walls and doors inside the residence, according to the report.

She stated at one point the man grabbed her face as he was yelling at her, but never hit her. She stated the man then grabbed a large kitchen knife and used it to try to get her into the car with him. She stated the man left the residence on foot and was most likely headed to the colony where he had been staying, according to the report.

Deputies located the suspect and advised him multiple times to stop, which the suspect dismissed all commands. Deputies eventually apprehended him in the 2100 block of South Carson Street where methamphetamine was found on his person. He was then take to jail and booked. Bail: $20,000.

In other arrests:

— A 27-year-old woman was arrested Monday for suspicion of allowing child abuse or neglect (endangerment) and misdemeanor battery following a fight where there was a juvenile involved, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report.

Deputies responded at 8:25 p.m. to a residence on Century Drive for a report of battery. Deputies contacted the reporting party outside the residence who stated there was a physical altercation between herself, another person (name and age redacted) and the suspect, Amanda Evans.

The RP stated she and Evans were on the ground “brawling” when another person (name and age redacted) involved herself in an attempt to break it up, the report states. The RP stated she walked into the back room, then heard commotion start between Evans and (name and age redacted) and observed another altercation.

Two people involved in the fight advised they wanted to press charges against Evans. Following an investigation, CCSO deputies arrested Evans for suspicion of felony allowing child abuse or neglect (endangerment) and battery. No other information was available in the report. Bail: $50,000.

— A 32-year-old man was arrested early Tuesday for suspicion of felony home invasion and possession of a controlled substance, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report. Following an investigation, CCSO deputies arrested Eric Galyan.

According to the report, at 1:10 a.m. CCSO deputies were dispatched to a Bel Air Way residence to investigate a burglary. The reporting party said her ex-boyfriend broke into her residence.

The RP told deputies she and the suspect were in a verbal argument. She told the man to leave, which he did and then returned to the residence and ripped open her screen causing damage. She said the man then entered the residence and stole torches and a bottle of butane, according to the report.

Deputies arrived on scene and detained the man during a stop. Deputies located a methamphetamine pipe and suspected methamphetamine in the vehicle, as well as a red torch and a bottle of butane, the report states. He was arrested for home invasion and possession of a controlled substance. Bail: $20,000.

— A 31-year-old Carson City jail inmate was booked Monday for a gross misdemeanor warrant alleging violation of a temporary protection order. Bail: $3,000.

— A 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant. Bail: $1,000 cash.

— A 57-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000 cash.

— A 28-year-old Carson City woman was arrested early Tuesday for misdemeanor violation of pre-trial supervision. A reporting party advised the woman was acting erratic and seen walking in a parking lot area in the 3600 block of South Carson Street.

Dispatch advised the woman was on Department of Alternative Sentencing with conditions of “no alcohol.” She provided a preliminary breath test of .202 and was arrested for DAS violation. Bail: $3,000 cash.

— A 42-year-old Dayton man was arrested Monday for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $3,000.

— A 23-year-old Carson City woman was arrested early Monday for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. According to the booking report, CCSO deputies were called to an Imperial Way address for domestic battery.

Dispatch advised the reporting party stated she and her ex-boyfriend were involved in a verbal argument that turned physical and that she struck the male in the face. Dispatch further stated the male was at the residence to gather his belongings, however, she refused to allow him to retrieve them.

Dispatch advised the male was waiting in the drive way of the residence while the female was in the backyard. Deputies arrived and spoke with the male who stated he and the woman had been dating for the past few months and that they got into an argument. He said she asked him to leave and he was grabbing his belongings while still trying to talk to her. He said she would repeatedly yell at him and tell him he needed to leave, the report states.

The argument then went from within the residence to the sidewalk in front of the residence. The male stated that when it reached the sidewalk, the female pushed him and struck him in the face with a balled right fist, striking him in the cheek, just under his left eye. The deputy could see visible redness and bruising consistent with the man’s statement.

At that time, the deputy saw the man’s hands and his left hand was bloody. He said that during the argument, he was holding his keys in his left hand and that the woman tried to aggressively take the keys from him, causing him to scratch his fingers, the report states.

Deputies then spoke with the woman who stated an argument between the two had started. She said the man was following her around the house, trying to fix their relationship. She said she continually told him to leave. She said that she kept telling him that and told him she would punch him if he kept walking toward her, according to the report.

Without being asked, she admitted that she knew the man was not being aggressive and that she didn’t think he would harm her, according to the report. She admitted to punching the man with a closed right fist, striking him in the left cheek. She was arrested for suspicion of domestic battery. Bail: $3,137.
