Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies responded Monday morning to the area of Arrowhead Drive and Convair Drive for a small brush fire that apparently started after a truck hit a power line.
The incident was reported at around 8:50 a.m. There was smoke in the area after a garbage truck reportedly struck the power line, according to dispatch. The fire was quickly knocked down by firefighters.
Motorists can expect delays.
