On August 13, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the City is inviting the public to the “City Hall Preview Night” according to a city press release.
The location will be on the corner of Proctor and Plaza, east of the BRIC (108 E. Proctor St.).
The city said in their announcement that attendees can learn about “the site location as staff shares next steps, exhibits, project timelines, and how the proposal improves service access, supports staff efficiency, invests in long-term community infrastructure, and advances the strategic goal of revitalizing downtown.”
Earlier this week, a group critical of the project, ‘Let Carson Vote,’ announced their own town hall meeting to discuss the project, which will occur August. 15:
During the July 16, 2026, Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board directed the City Manager to continue all preparatory tasks to complete a draft lease purchase agreement for a new City Hall.
