The excitement and pageantry of Hot August Nights is returning to Atlantis Casino Resort Spa with a full slate of classic car events, live entertainment and more scheduled Monday, August 1 through Saturday, August 6.
Registered Hot August Nights car participants will have the opportunity to compete in the legendary Cruise of Champions™ for a chance to win a share of $25,000. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded nightly for Best of Show, Judge’s Choice, Best Restored Original, Best Special Interest, Best Street Rod and Best Street Cruiser.
“As a participating venue for Hot August Nights, we’re thrilled to be a part of the 35th anniversary of this celebration of classic cars and nostalgia,” said Cheraz Ecker, general manager of Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. “Our team is excited to once again welcome new and longtime returning guests and their beautiful, classic cars to our events.”
This year’s live entertainment includes Carnaval (Santana tribute), ZZ Tush (ZZ Top tribute), Papa Clutch and the Shifters, Hot Rod Rebellion and Skynyrd Reloaded (Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute). All five bands will perform on the outdoor stage in the west parking lot.
The Hot August Nights Celebration at the Atlantis will also feature daily Acres of Champions Show-n-Shines, a $2,500 Shake, Rattle & Roll Keno Tournament, eating contests and a Cruisin’ Craft Fair.
Additionally, the Atlantis will be offering commemorative Hot August Nights Monarch Rewards cards while supplies last plus 5X comp points on slot play every night.
