Historic Downtown Dayton comes alive for a weekend of family fun, entertainment, shopping and community.
The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of the Dayton Valley Days, taking place Saturday, Sept. 19 and Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, in Historic Downtown Dayton, Nev.
Dayton Valley Days is one of the community’s most anticipated annual traditions, bringing residents and visitors together for a full weekend celebrating Dayton’s history, local businesses and community spirit.
Festivities will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday throughout the historic downtown area near Pike and Main Streets.
This year’s event will feature: Hot air balloon rides, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, a car show, pin-up contest, blacksmith and gold panning, museum tours, try yoga free, Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, mule cart rides, Pet Parade, Kids Zone, Children’s Entrepreneur booths, Children’s vision screening, speeder cars, Silent Auction and Raffle and much more.
New for 2026 is the Off-Road Show
Dayton Valley Days is getting even bigger this year with the addition of an exciting Off-Road Show on Sunday, Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Visitors can check out an impressive display of off-road vehicles while enjoying everything else happening throughout the festival.
The weekend will also feature live entertainment from Charles Serna, The Grimtones, and Greg Austin and his band, along with additional activities and entertainment throughout the event.
More Than a Festival — A Celebration of Dayton
Dayton Valley Days provides an opportunity to discover the businesses, organizations, history and people that make the Dayton area special. Visitors are encouraged to spend the weekend exploring Historic Dayton, shopping with local and regional vendors, enjoying great food and entertainment, and supporting the many organizations and businesses participating in the event.
The Silent Auction and Raffle will once again be held at the Dayton Community Center, featuring an assortment of donated prizes and items. Auction bidding and raffle ticket sales will conclude Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
Admission to Dayton Valley Days is free, making it a great weekend destination for families and visitors of all ages.
