Be inventive and creative, recycle and learn to feed birds all in one day.
A class on how to make a bird feeder out of recycled plastic will be offered by Nevada State Parks at Washoe Lake on July 10 beginning at 10 a.m.
Park staff will teach anyone how to decorate bird feeders out of recycled plastic bottles. The program is suitable for ages 5 to adult and all materials will be provided.
In honor of Nevada State Parks 75th anniversary, all children will receive a 75th anniversary memorabilia prize.
This program is limited to 15 participants. Call (775) 687-4319 to reserve a space.
There is no charge for the program; however there is a $7 per vehicle park entry fee with a $2 discount for Nevada residents.
