Nevada Day Inc. is calling on community groups, local artists, and volunteers to get involved in the 2026 Nevada Day Parade, themed “Pumpkins, Pioneers & Tall Tales,” as planning ramps up for the Oct. 31 celebration.
Food vendor spots for this year’s parade are now full. However, Nevada Day Inc. still has a limited number of parade entry spots open for groups and organizations wanting to march or ride in the procession, along with openings for artist vendors interested in showcasing and selling their work along the parade route and volunteers to help line up parade entries and keep the procession running smoothly on event day.
The Nevada Day Parade is one of the largest and longest-running celebrations of its kind in the country, drawing tens of thousands of spectators to the streets of Carson City each year. Groups hoping to be part of the lineup, artists looking for a high-visibility opportunity to reach a large crowd, and community members interested in a hands-on volunteer role are all encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
“This parade wouldn’t happen without our volunteers, and every entry and artist vendor adds to what makes Nevada Day special,” said Chantell Peck, Executive Director, Nevada Day Inc. “If you’ve been thinking about joining the parade lineup, applying as an artist vendor, or signing up to volunteer, now is the time — spots are limited.”
Parade entry applications, artist vendor applications, and volunteer sign-ups are all available exclusively through the official Nevada Day website at NevadaDay.com. Interested applicants are urged not to delay, as availability is limited.
