Carson City celebrates summertime classic cruising with one of the biggest capital city car shows of the year, the 39th annual Run What Cha Brung, happening today, Saturday, at Mills Park.

The capital city car show favorite, hosted by Karson Kruzers car club, brings all the chrome, makes, shapes and sizes to the shady trees of Mills Park, making it an ideal location for enthusiasts of all ages. The show runs until 4 p.m. and is free to the public. The event is free to the public to view the show. There will be raffles and silent auction, food trucks, a live DJ spinning tunes and more.

Saturday’s show brings at least 180 classic cars, vintage trucks and more, according to organizers. The proud owners of these classics are on hand to answer any questions people may have.

Run What Cha Brung has been a staple of Northern Nevada car shows since the late 1980s when, during the first few years, was attended by mostly other car club members. Karson Kruzers was established in 1985 and is a non-profit organization.
