Meet Moos, the Nevada Humane Society Carson City branch’s Pet of the Week!

This handsome 7-year-old Black Lab/German Shepherd mix is ready to find a family who shares his love for adventure.

Moos is an active guy who enjoys playing fetch, going for walks, and proudly destuffing his favorite toys. He walks nicely on leash and is always excited to get out and burn off some energy.

Moos has previously lived with children and did great, making him a wonderful companion for an active family. He would do best in a home without cats or other small animals, as they aren’t really his thing.

Moos has been in our care since late March after being owner-surrendered and is more than ready to start his next chapter. He does have a history of ear infections and will need regular ear cleanings to help keep him comfortable and healthy.

With sunny days ahead, Moos is dreaming of a human to join him on hikes, trail walks, and outdoor adventures. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s always up for exploring, Moos might just be your perfect match.
