Patricia A. Allen, age 84, of Carson City, Nevada passed away peacefully at her home on May 2, 2026. She was born on October 19, 1941, the only child of Fred and Daisy Frevert of Minden, Nevada.
Patricia graduated from Douglas County High School in 1959 and graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Portland Oregon in 1963.
Patricia married Bernard Allen of Carson City in August of 1967 and together they had two daughters. Patricia had a life-long love of books and piano.
She taught piano lessons in the 1970’s and worked at the Coleville Library in the late 1980’s and then at the Dayton Valley Branch Library before retiring in 2004.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Daisy Frevert (1975, 1981), her son-in-law, Robert Munoz (2022) and daughter Karen (2024).
Patricia is survived by her husband of almost 59 years, Bernard Allen, daughter, Kathy Munoz, brother-in-law Ron (Susan) Allen and first cousins Mary Lee Schafer and Beverly (Jerry) Casale.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Hilltop Community Church on June 19 at 10 am. All are welcome.
