
Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of May 16-22, 2022. Closures are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— Center Drive between Snyder Avenue and Clear Creek Avenue will be closed, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction. Please use the designated detour route, Clear Creek Avenue and Snyder Avenue and use caution.
Sewer and Water Line Replacement Closures, 7:00am to 5:30pm at the following locations:
— Caroline Street between Mountain Street and Elizabeth Street will be closed on Monday.
— Caroline Street between Mountain Street and Elizabeth Street will be closed Wednesday through Thursday.
— Robinson Street at Division Street will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
— Robinson Street at Mountain Street will be closed on Tuesday.
— Robinson Street at Minnesota Street will be closed Wednesday and Thursday.
— Robinson Street at Phillips Street will be closed on Thursday.
— Spear Street between Robinson Street and Division Street will be closed on Wednesday.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— Ballarat Drive between Panamint Road and Knoblock Road will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm for utility work.
— Carson Street between Hot Springs Road and Winnie Lane will have shoulder work, Monday and Tuesday, 7:00am to 4:00pm for utility work.
— Carson Street at Old Clear Creek Road will have delays, Thursday through Sunday, 8:00am to 5:00pm for a special event.
— The Clearview Drive bridge over I-580 will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm for bridge resurfacing.
— Fairview Drive at 5th Street will have traffic delays up to 20 minutes for a freight transport escort, Monday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
— The Koontz Lane bridge over I-580 will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm for bridge resurfacing.
— Lakeview Road at Lakewood Court, Levi Gulch and at Combs Canyon will be reduced to one lane with flaggers and have shoulder work, Monday – Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm for storm drain improvements.
— Long Street between Roop Street and Rand Avenue will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— Meadow Wood Road at Wagon Wheel Road and at Combs Canyon will be reduced to one lane with flaggers and have shoulder work, Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm for storm drain improvements.
— Rand Avenue between William Street and Camille Drive will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
