The Carson Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) and Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) will host their monthly meetings this Wednesday, May 14 beginning at 4:30 p.m. 

CAMPO agenda items include:

  • A discussion of the 2026 budget, including a budget increase of $365,650;
  • An Interlocal Agreement with Lyon County for CAMPO’s management of $1.25 million in grant funding for a feasibility study for a Dayton Valley/Chaves Road Bridge Project
  • Policy changes;

RTC agenda items include: 

  • An agreement for NDOT to partially fund the construction of the Curry Street Complete Street Project in the amount of $1.98 million using Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) funds plus a 5% local match of $104,139, and $2.91 million in additional funding outside of the agreement for a total project cost of $4.99 million; 
  • A contract with Lumos & Associates to provide design and construction support services for the Curry Street project in the amount of $681,890; 
  • An agreement for NDOT to partially fund the Little Lane Rehabilitation project through $500,000 in STBG funds plus a 5% local match of $26,316 and $892,684 in additional local funding outside the agreement for a total project cost of $1.42 million;
