Special Event Lane Restrictions
On Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m,, the 3k, 5k, 8k Walk Us Home Run / Walk and Family Fair will take place on the west side of Carson City. Watch for pedestrians during this time. Below is the list of roads that will be affected by the event:
— Minnesota Street between King Street and 4th Street
— 4th Street between Minnesota Street and Nevada Street
— Nevada Street between 4th Street and Adaline Street
— Adaline Street between Nevada Street and Mountain Street
— Fleischmann Way between Nevada Street and Mountain Street
— Mountain Street between Wagner Drive and King Street
— Washington Street between Mountain Street and North Ormsby Boulevard
— Wagner Drive between Mountain Street and Oak Ridge Drive
— Oak Ridge Drive between Bluegrass Drive North Ormsby Boulevard
— North Ormsby Boulevard between Oak Ridge Drive and Winnie Lane
— Winnie Lane between North Ormsby Boulevard and Ash Canyon Road
— Ash Canyon Road between Winnie Lane and North Ormsby Boulevard
— North Ormsby Boulevard between Ash Canyon Road and King Street
— King Street between North Ormsby Boulevard and Minnesota Street
Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
5th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will be closed nightly from Monday – Sunday, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
7th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will be closed from Monday through Sunday.
The Airport Road Bike Path will be closed from April 27 to May 8, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Detours will be in place during closure.
Airport Road between Highway 50 and College Parkway will have southbound lane closures with flaggers from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Carmine Street/Lompa Lane intersection will be closed to southbound traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Detours will be provided.
Plaza Street between 5th Street and 7th Street will be closed from Monday through Sunday.
Rand Avenue near William Street will be closed to northbound and southbound traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Roop Street between 5th Street and Musser Street will be closed from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Roop Street/2nd Street intersection will be closed from Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
State Street near William Street will be closed to northbound and southbound traffic from Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
William Street between Carson Street and Roop Street will be closed to Eastbound traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
5th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will have lane restrictions with flaggers from Monday through Sunday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Baker Drive between Kerinne Circle and Gillis Way will have reduced lanes from May 4 to July 7, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
College Parkway between Highway 50 and Lompa Lane will have reduce lanes from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Fairview Drive between Roop Street and the I-580 on/off ramps will have lane restrictions from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Gregg Street between Chinook Circle and Ramuda Circle will have reduced lanes from April 20 to May 8, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Lander Drive between Silver Sage Drive and Baker Drive will have reduced lanes from April 30 to July 7, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Pioche Street between Silver Sage Drive and Baker Drive will have reduced lanes from May 4 to July 7, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The Roop Street/Little Lane intersection will have reduced lanes from Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
The Stewart Street/5th Street intersection will have reduced lanes from Tuesday and Wednesday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Stewart Street/Spear Street intersection will have reduced lanes from Tuesday and Wednesday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Stewart Street between 5th Street and 8th Street may have reduced lanes with flaggers and lane shifts from Monday through Sunday.
Stewart Street between Little Lane and William Street will have lane closures from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Tuscarora Way between Silver Sage Drive and Baker Drive will have reduced lanes from April 28 to July 7, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Vintage Circle will have reduced lanes from May 4 to July 7, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
William Street between Carson Street and Airport Road will have restricted lanes from Monday through Sunday.
