Jimmie Sherfy’s heater is warming up Reno’s frigid spring nights.
Sherfy, 27, recorded his fifth save of the season in a 2-0 victory over Las Vegas to secure the Aces’ first complete game shutout since April 13, 2018. Sherfy’s four-seam fastball touched 95 mph battling 53-degree weather with wind speeds up to 13 mph.
