Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called Sunday evening to a fire in a tree that was burning near a residence in the 2400 block of Lewis Drive.
An arriving first responder, a Carson City Sheriff’s Office deputy, extinguished the fire before it spread.
Carson City Fire Department engines responded and began cleanup hotspots and investigate.
The cause is unknown at this time.
