CARSON CITY, Nev. – The Nevada Department of Transportation is advising motorists to anticipate travel delays as State Route 28 at Lake Tahoe is restriped Monday, April 24 through Thursday, April 27.
Reduced speed limits and travel delays of up to 30 minutes should be anticipated on State Route 28 April 24 through April 27 between 8:30 am and 2:30 pm daily. The mobile road striping operation is scheduled to begin at the State Route 28/U.S. 50 Spooner junction on Monday, April 24, and move westward to Nevada-California state line over the following days.
Drivers are reminded to drive safely and not illegally pass in road work zones. This road improvement is subject to change based on weather or other factors.
