A 40-year-old Carson City man was arrested around 8 p.m. after deputies were dispatched to an adult store near Highway 50 E. and Airport Road after receiving eight calls about a “completely naked” man walking down the road.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the man who was wrapped in a towel and speaking with Carson City Fire. Deputies were advised that the towel had been provided by employees of the store, according to the report.
The man told deputies that he had walked there from his residence, and “could not remember much.” Deputies stated that he appeared to be under the influence.
Deputies asked if he’d taken anything, and he told them he had “smoked meth earlier today” but couldn’t remember further, according to the report.
The man was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and transported to the Carson City Jail.
Woman arrested on felony firearm, drug charges after deputies respond to theft report
Eleisha Christina Lucido, 46, of Silver Springs, was arrested Wednesday evening on felony drug and firearm-related charges as well as a misdemeanor drug paraphernalia charge after deputies responded to a reported theft at a ranch supply store, according to the arrest report.
Deputies were dispatched shortly after 5 p.m. after store employees reported two individuals were placing merchandise into bags.
The two individuals, including Lucido, were detained, and Lucido consented to a search of her bag.
Inside, deputies reportedly found methamphetamine, a glass pipe, and two firearms.
Deputies advised they did not find any stolen merchandise from the store, however.
Staff stated they did not want to press charges but wanted both parties trespassed.
Lucido was booked on a felony charge of possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance, a felony charge of carrying or possessing a firearm during and in relation to the commission of a drug-related offense, and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bail was listed at $2,500, $15,000 and $1,137, respectively.
Man arrested for DUI crash after drinking ‘Moscow Mules’ in Reno
A 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Thursday on suspicion of misdemeanor first-offense DUI after deputies responded to a crash near the northbound Interstate 580 exit ramp, Arrowhead Drive and Imus Road, according to the arrest report.
Deputies were dispatched shortly before midnight on a report of a possible injury crash. The reporting deputy wrote that a Kia Forte had gone off the road and collided with a roundabout.
The deputy contacted the driver and reported smelling alcohol coming from him. According to the reporting deputy, the man had told deputies on scene that he’d “fucked up” and had been drinking at a bar in Reno earlier that night.
He told deputies that he did not know how he crashed, and was on his way back from Reno to his hotel in Carson City.
He said he’d been drinking “Moscow Mules” from around 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., though he told deputies he believed it was sometime between midnight and 2 a.m. while it was not yet midnight at the time. He said he’d only stopped drinking approximately 30-40 minutes before the crash.
The man agreed to standardized field sobriety tests.
According to the report, deputies observed six of six clues on the horizontal gaze nystagmus test, seven of eight clues on the walk-and-turn test and two of four clues on the one-leg stand.
He provided a PBT with a result of .184. He was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor first-offense DUI and agreed to a blood draw. He was transported to the Carson City Jail.
Bail was listed at $1,137.
Three misdemeanor warrants lead to arrest at gas station
A 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on three misdemeanor contempt-of-court warrants after a deputy recognized him standing outside a gas station.
The reporting deputy wrote that he knew he had confirmed contempt-of-court warrants. The deputy contacted him, advised him of the warrants and took him into custody.
According to the report, the three warrants carried cash-only bail amounts of $3,000, $500 and $3,000.
62-year-old woman sleeping outside arrested on contempt warrant
A 62-year-old Carson City woman was arrested early Thursday on misdemeanor contempt-related charges after a deputy found her sleeping outside near Washington and North Valley streets, according to the arrest report.
The reporting deputy wrote that he was patrolling the area just before 5 a.m. when he saw someone lying in a sleeping bag near the corner of the intersection.
The deputy contacted the woman, who did not have identification with her, and ran her information through dispatch.
According to the report, dispatch confirmed an outstanding Carson City Justice Court warrant issued in December 2024 for contempt of court and violation of bail conditions.
The woman was taken into custody and transported to the Carson City Jail without incident. She had a pet rat with her, which was taken into custody by animal control.
She was booked on two misdemeanor contempt-of-court charges. Cash bail was listed at $3,000, with the second charge included.
Carson City man turns himself in on domestic battery warrant
A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after turning himself in at the Carson City Jail on an outstanding misdemeanor domestic battery warrant.
Bail was listed at $3,000.
Silver Springs woman arrested on contempt warrant
A 28-year-old Silver Springs woman was arrested Wednesday morning on an outstanding misdemeanor contempt-of-court warrant, according to the arrest report.
The reporting deputy wrote that he was dispatched at about 10:15 a.m. to meet Lyon County Sheriff’s Office deputies at the county line and take custody of the woman.
According to the report, the woman had a confirmed Carson City warrant for failure to appear in court. She was placed in handcuffs and transported to the Carson City Jail without incident.
The woman was booked on a misdemeanor contempt-of-court charge.
Cash bail was listed at $10,000.
Silver Springs man arrested on two warrants
A 31-year-old Silver Springs man was arrested Wednesday morning on two outstanding misdemeanor-related warrants, according to the arrest report.
The reporting deputy wrote that he was dispatched to meet Lyon County Sheriff’s Office deputies at the county line and take custody of the man, who had no local charges in Lyon County but had two confirmed Carson City warrants.
According to the report, one warrant stemmed from a probation violation and carried $3,000 cash bail. The second was issued for failure to appear and carried $10,000 cash bail.
