On Monday, April 20, Douglas County and Carson City Emergency Management —along with regional emergency response partners — will conduct a Wildfire Evacuation Exercise near Clear Creek Tahoe.
The purpose of the exercise is to test emergency notification systems. there will be three separate notifications at noon, 1 p.m., and 2 p.m.
This is only an exercise. There is no actual wildfire or evacuation order in effect. Please do not take real evacuation actions unless you receive a non-exercise alert.
Notifications will be delivered via voice call, email, and/or text, depending on how you have your account set up.
