Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies responded early Saturday evening to a crash into an apartment building in the 3500 block of Woodside Drive.
Reported at 5:37 p.m., arriving first responders advised dispatch to contact Southwest Gas for a possible gas leak. The gas has since been turned off. No injuries are reported at this time. The driver apparently fled the scene.
This is the second such crash in two days involving a vehicle hitting an apartment building. On Friday, a vehicle crashed into an apartment unit on Airport Road causing significant structural damage.
