As spring begins we find the trail mostly clean on dog waste and trash. We thank the Green Biz Kids and their teachers for coming out on the trail for Doodie Duty during their class hours, the center trail is looking great!

For those new to the trail, dog waste is not biodegradable and even contaminates our soil (and water table) for many years.

We hope the dog parent who recently left behind poop in the middle of the upper trail (twice!) will understand this and pick up next time. We refill the bag stations twice a week and the trash cans are emptied  weekly.

A man recently asked why the horse waste does not have to be picked up and was told because they eat plant matter, the waste biodegrades pretty quickly,  within a few days.

Thanks to all our friends on the trail, and to pet parents who bring them here, see you on the trail!
