GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — The man who shot a Douglas County sergeant during a traffic stop last year was sentenced to prison Monday afternoon.
Nicholas Berreman, 23, will spend up to 61 years in prison for shooting Sgt. John Lenz multiple times on Dec. 20.
