Carson High School Senior Victor Krupicz was crowned Mr. Carson High Friday evening at the school’s cheerleader fundraising event in the Bob Boldrick Theatre at the Carson City Community Center.
Other winners included Jarren Thornburg, who was named Mr. ‘Almost’ Carson High (runner-up), Mr. Talent was awarded to Nicolas Heald, the Crowd Favorite award went to Shane Robinson, Kale Thompson was awarded Mr. Star Quality, the title of Mr. Congeniality went to Dennis Dzwir and Best Dressed was awarded to Daniel Rivera.
With the Mount Olympus theme, this year’s pageant consisted of introductions, choreographed professional dances, on-stage questions, a talent portion and a formal dance, all set to the Greek theme with costumes. The event takes weeks of planning and numerous volunteers to pull off. All proceeds from ticket sales and community sponsorships go toward the cheerleading program at Carson High School.

The evening was Emceed by Mark Macedo, dean of students at Eagle Valley Middle School. Marshal Meliah Gonzales (Carson City First Judicial District Court bailiff), School Resource Officer Sean Palamar (Carson City Sheriff’s Office), Athletic Director Thomas Reymer (Carson High School) and President Molly Walt (Carson City School Board).
Carson High School Cheerleading Coaches include Head Coach Taylor Macedo and Assistant Coach Connie Thompson.
