Carson City, NV – March 24, 2026 – Youth Theatre Carson City is thrilled to announce our upcoming production of Disney’s Dare to Dream, Jr., a Disney Musical Revue, playing four performances only March 27-29, 2026 in the Bob Boldrick Theatre at the Carson City Community Center.
Disney’s Dare to Dream, Jr. is a 60-minute musical revue that follows an eager group of trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. As the group sets out to help each other discover their dreams, they work together to explore the power of dreams to unite, inspire, and make anything possible. Drawing from a century of beloved Disney films, Dare to Dream, Jr. features songs appearing for the first time ever in a Disney stage musical, including fan-favorites from The Princess and the Frog, Coco, Encanto, Zootopia and Frozen II. This musical revue is a thrilling mix of contemporary songs, timeless classics, and brand new medleys that are sure to surprise and delight Disney lovers of all ages.
Disney’s Dare to Dream, Jr. features the talents of Youth Theatre Carson City’s National Award-Winning Showstoppers and Rising Stars Performance Teams, who just recently earned top awards and accolades at the 2026 Musical Theatre Competitions of America in Anaheim, including the Ovation Award for Best Ensemble.

Performances of Disney’s Dare to Dream, Jr. will run March 27-28 at 7pm and March 28 and 29 at 2pm in the Bob Boldrick Theatre at the Carson City Community Center located at 851 E. The Showstoppers and Rising Stars are special groups of performers, hand-picked from the most talented, most dedicated, and most enthusiastic members of the YTCC program. Made up of 18 local singers, dancers and actors ages 8-18, the Showstoppers and Rising Stars tour Northern Nevada and California bringing their love of the arts to their community and now to a National stage.
