The next Carson City School Board meeting will take place Tuesday, March 25, 2025, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Robert Crowell Board Room of the Community Center (851 E. William St.).

Among the key items on the agenda:

• A presentation and discussion about a possible intervention/diversion program, coordinated by the Carson City Department of Juvenile Services and CCSD School Resource Officers. This program would include student anger management classes and community service requirements—aimed at diverting criminal charges and reducing student fights and citations.

• Annual reports from Carson Middle School and Eagle Valley Middle School, focusing on academic programs, student support, and recent successes.

• An overview of budget assumptions for the 2025–2026 fiscal year, including updates on the district’s grants program.

• Discussion about reducing monthly board meetings from two to one.

• Consent agenda items, including approval of purchases, staffing updates, and vaccination exemptions.
