The Carson City Sheriff’s Office, working with the Sacramento Police Department, arrested a wanted fugitive in Carson City.
On March 11, 2026, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office SWAT team successfully carried out an arrest warrant for 18-year-old Jayden Tibbitts near the 3300 Block of South Carson Street.
Tibbitts was wanted in Sacramento on charges including possessing a concealed firearm in a vehicle, carrying a loaded firearm, possessing a loaded firearm with the intent to commit a felony, and evading law enforcement through reckless driving.
