Special Event Road Closures and Lane Restrictions
On May 16th, from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm, the Stetina’s Paydirt Gravel Bike race starts/finish/festival will be held at Fuji Park with the course itself taking place in both Carson City and Douglas County.
Watch for cyclists during this time. Below is the list of roads that will be affected by the event:
Special Event Road Closures
Vista Grande Boulevard between Old Clear Creek Road and Topsy Lane will be closed from 8:00 am to 8:10 am
Old Clear Creek Road between Vista Grande Boulevard, through US-395 will be closed to Eastbound traffic from 8:00 am to 8:10 am

Frontage Road between Hwy 395 and Clear Creek Avenue
Clear Creek Avenue between Frontage Road and Snyder Avenue
Snyder Avenue between Clear Creek Avenue and South Edmonds Drive
South Edmonds Drive between Snyder Avenue and Koontz Lane
Carson River Road between East 5th Street and Pinion Hills Drive
Pinion Hills Drive between Cason River Road and Laurel Road
Laurel Road between Pinion Hills and South Deer Run Road
South Deer Run Road between Laurel Road and Sedge Road
Golf Club Drive between Hwy 50 and Old Clear Creek Road
Old Clear Creek Road between Golf Club Drive and Fuji Park
Road closures are expected at the following locations this week due to road/utility work:
5th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will be closed nightly from Monday through Sunday, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
7th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will be closed from Monday through Sunday.
Airport Road between Highway 50 and College Parkway will have southbound lane closures with flaggers from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Carmine Street/Lompa Lane intersection will be closed to southbound traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Detours will be provided.
Plaza Street between 5th Street and 7th Street will be closed from Monday through Sunday.
Rand Avenue near William Street will be closed to northbound and southbound traffic from Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Roop Street between 5th Street and Musser Street will be closed from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. During the Roop Street closure, the following intersections will be closed, one at a time:

State Street near William Street will be closed to northbound and southbound traffic from Monday through Wednesday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
William Street between Carson Street and Roop Street will be closed to Eastbound traffic from Thursday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Lane restrictions are expected this week at the following locations due to road/utility work:
5th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will have lane restrictions with flaggers from Monday through Sunday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Baker Drive between Kerinne Circle and Gillis Way will have reduced lanes from May 4 to July 7, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
College Parkway between Highway 50 and Lompa Lane will have reduce lanes from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Fairview Drive between Roop Street and the I-580 on/off ramps will have lane restrictions from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Gregg Street between Chinook Circle and Ramuda Circle will have reduced lanes from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Lander Drive between Silver Sage Drive and Baker Drive will have reduced lanes from April 30 to July 7, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Pioche Street between Silver Sage Drive and Baker Drive will have reduced lanes from May 4 to July 7, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Stampede Circle between Divot Road and Gregg Street will have reduced lanes from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Stewart Street between 5th Street and 8th Street may have reduced lanes with flaggers from Monday through Sunday, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Stewart Street between Little Lane and William Street will have lane closures from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Tuscarora Way between Silver Sage Drive and Baker Drive will have reduced lanes from April 28 to July 7, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Vintage Circle will have reduced lanes from May 4 to July 7, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
William Street between Carson Street and Airport Road will have restricted lanes from Monday through Sunday.
