On Thursday, March 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Carson City is hosting a strategic plan meeting for the public to review the background, participate in the process and be informed about the timeline for implementing the new strategic plan. The meeting will be held at the Bonanza Room at the Community Center, located at 851 E. William St, Carson City.

The strategic plan survey opened on Feb. 20. The purpose of strategic planning is to set priorities, focus energy and resources, strengthen operations, and ensure that employees and other stakeholders are working toward common goals. To fill out the survey, go to carsoncity.gov/strategicplan. English and Spanish versions are available to the public. Survey closes on March 23.
