The Carson City Board of Supervisors is seeking applications from persons interested in serving on the Carson City Open Space Advisory Committee.
There is one (1) open partial-term position due to a resignation, expiring January 2028.
The purpose of the Committee is to promote the quality of life for citizens of Carson City through the preservation and protection of the natural environment – specific duties of the Committee are defined in CC Municipal Code Ch. 13.06.

Meetings are held the third Monday of every other month at 5:30 pm in the Bob Crowell Board Room at the Carson City Community Center. Applicants must be Carson City registered voters to qualify.

Applications will be accepted until March 23, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Interviews for this volunteer position are tentatively planned to be held at the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
