Approximately 60 people made up of interested property and business owners including Cactus Jack’s, The Firkin and Fox, and Carson Nugget, among others, gathered Thursday at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office to attend a “pre-construction meeting” for the downtown redesign construction project. The project will break ground Monday, 11 a.m. at the corner of Third and Carson streets.
There will be weekly reports provided by Q&D Construction that will appear on Carson Now. Owners of businesses affected by the construction say they will remain open for the duration of the project.
