The Love Heals Free Clinic is seeking medical and non-medical volunteers for its upcoming free community health clinic on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, opening at 8 a.m. at the Carson City Community Center. The single-day event aims to provide essential healthcare services at no cost to underserved individuals.
To successfully serve the expected hundreds of patients, organizers are recruiting a diverse team of volunteers. Licensed medical professionals are urgently needed, including physicians, nurses, physician assistants, dentists, oral surgeons, hygienists, ophthalmologists and optometrists.
In addition to healthcare providers, the clinic relies heavily on general volunteers to ensure smooth operations. Community members can sign up for vital non-medical roles such as patient translators, guest escorts, registration clerks, data-entry assistants, and general setup-and-breakdown crews. No prior medical experience is required for these general support positions.
Love Heals Free Clinic operates on the belief that healthcare is a fundamental human right.
