Carson City Fire Department and the Nevada Highway Patrol responded Monday evening to a single vehicle crash in the northbound lane of I-580 south of the College Parkway exit.
Reported at 6:22 p.m., dispatch advised the vehicle reportedly may have hit a mattress in the roadway and then hit a barrier wall. All units cleared at around 6:45 p.m. It is unknown if the motorist suffered any injuries. There was no indication via CCFD Command of medical transport.
Motorists can expect delays.
