From the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office: The closure of Highway 395 near Muller Lane in Minden will continue until approximately 6 p.m. It had originally been thought to be opened by 4 p.m. The repair is taking longer than initially expected.
This timeframe is based on an estimate from NV Energy on time required for repair crews to switch transmission lines to re-route power and to remove disabled power cables from the roadway.
Northbound travelers on Highway 395 are advised to divert to State Route 88, to westbound Mottsville Lane, to northbound Foothill Road, to eastbound Genoa Lane, and back onto US Hwy 395.
Southbound travelers on Highway 395 are advised to take westbound Genoa Lane, to southbound Foothill Road, to eastbound Mottsville Lane, and on to State Route 88.
