Carson City Sheriff's Office is investigating more vandalism overnight at the Carson Aquatic Facility.

Vandals again struck the Carson Aquatic Facility late Monday night or early Tuesday morning causing thousands of dollars in damage, according to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.

Multiple windows were damaged in the latest act of vandalism at the facility.

“I’m very frustrated. This has repeatedly happened. We will continue to do what we can to isolate them and get them into custody,” said Sheriff Furlong.

The latest damage is estimated to cost around $10,000, said Carson City Parks and Recreation Superintendent Dan Earp, who was at the pool facility Tuesday morning surveying the scene.

“We don’t know if this is related or not. Before somebody threw a rock trying to break in and get something, this time it appears somebody shot something into the windows,” said Earp.

On Friday, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office sent a news release, video and images asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a Feb. 8 vandalism attack that happened at around 2:43 a.m., where an unknown suspect broke into the Carson Aquatic Center.
