Tim Tetz, Director of Public Outreach at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund in Washington D.C. announced Saturday that a search is underway to locate and obtain photographs of those Northern Nevadan’s who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam conflict.

It is the Fund’s goal that the “Wall of Faces” will put a face and a story to each and every name enshrined on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall.
Carson City Mayor, Bob Crowell, himself a Vietnam Veteran, joined Tetz in calling on all present and past Carson City residents to participate in the project assuring that the seven individuals from Carson City, whose names are on the Wall, will never be forgotten.
Carson Area Chapter – 388 of the Vietnam Veterans of America’s President – Rick Arnold pledged the Chapter’s assistance with the project.
In addition to the search for photographs, Tetz encouraged financial support in the ongoing efforts to raise funds to build and open the Educational Center in Washington D.C.. Additional information is available on the Fund’s website at www.vvmf.org/
