Atlas Isaiah Soto, a baby boy, was born Feb. 4, 2025 to Lindsay Soto and Joseph Soto of Gardnerville. 

Isaac Arthur Rippee, a baby boy, was born Feb. 7, 2025 to Brooke Rippee and Luke Rippee of Reno.

Kelsey is a fourth-generation Nevadan, English professor and investigative journalist working in the Sierras. More importantly, she is an advocate of high desert agriculture and rescue dogs.
