Carson City paramedics have responded to a traffic accident this afternoon involving a motorcycle and a Jeep at East Nye and Carson streets.
Care Flight air ambulance has been alerted and will meet paramedics at the Carson City Airport, according to scanner traffic reports. The accident was reported at about 2 this afternoon and was blocking the eastbound lane of the roadway.
The motorcycle rider was reportedly conscious and alert but remained on the ground as paramedics arrived, according to scanner traffic. It is unknown if the driver of Jeep suffered any injuries.
