Kylie Sophia Bassham, a baby girl, was born Jan. 20, 2025 to Veronica Bassham and Kyle Bassham of Reno. 

Miles Samuel Pruitt, a baby boy, was born Jan. 21, 2025 to Mindy Pruitt and Jacob Pruitt of Gardnerville. 

Stella Lara, a baby girl, was born Jan. 23, 2025 to Karen Lara and Roberto Lara of Coleville, Calif.

Annabella Jade Town, a baby girl, was born Jan. 23, 2025 to Baby Diane Toan and Michael Town of Carson City. 

Kelsey is a fourth-generation Nevadan, English professor and investigative journalist working in the Sierras. More importantly, she is an advocate of high desert agriculture and rescue dogs.
