NV Energy reports power outages late Tuesday morning affecting nearly 300 customers around Carson City. An outage was reported in the West Winnie Lane area around at around 10:35 p.m. affecting 271 customers. At around the time of the outage Carson City dispatch reported that a tree limb was down in the area.
A second outage was reported near Michael Drive affecting 21 customers. A third outage, around East Sutro Terrace street was affecting 5 customers. NV Energy says outages are due to damage to equipment and that power should be restore to all areas by 1:15 p.m.
Gusty winds are expected through the day, according to the weather service. At this time there are no wind advisories for the area.
