The Carson City Chamber will be holding a grand opening and open house Saturday, Jan. 31 to unveil its new Artisan Showcase beginning at 2 pm within the Chamber building at 1900 S. Carson Street.
The works of talented artists from within the region will be showcased along with metal artisan Robbie St Clair who created a special grand opening sculpture for the Carson City Chamber — the Eagle that stands guard over our Eagle Valley seen along the I-580 corridor when entering or leaving our city from the North.
The Chamber commissioned St Clair to recreate the freeway eagle to a size suitable for displaying in the home or on desks. At just 18-inches high, the Eagle Valley eagle will grace any home or desk and makes an impressive and affordable gift for any reason. For those who grew up in Carson City, the eagle has very special meaning for ours is the Eagle Valley.
Featured at the open house will be Mr. St Clair who will provide insight into his unique and impressive art and talk about how he got started and what inspires him. RSVP appreciated: 882-1565
The open house is scheduled between 2-4 pm. Refreshments will be served.
