The Carson City Board of Supervisors is seeking applications from persons interested in serving on the Redevelopment Authority Citizens Committee. There are five (5) open positions: Two (2) Business or Property Owner Redevelopment Area 1; One (1) Business Operator or Property Owner Redevelopment Area 2; and two (2) Citizen-at-Large.
• (1) Business/Property Owner Redevelopment Area 1 for term that will expire in January 2028.
• (1) Business/Property Owner Redevelopment Area 1 for a partial term that will expire in January 2026.
• (1) Business/Property Owner Redevelopment Area 2 for term that will expire in January 2028.
• (2) Citizen-at-Large positions each for terms that will end January 2028.
The Committee’s primary purpose is to make recommendations to the Redevelopment Authority on Redevelopment Area Plans, incentive programs, special event funding, and other matters pertaining to the Redevelopment District.
Applicants should be aware that a minimum commitment of up to 10 hours a month is expected. All members will serve without compensation.
Applicants must be Carson City registered voters.
