Perry and Starr Nixdorf, along with their staff, celebrated three years in business Saturday at Paradise Salon and Wellness Spa, 3430 Executive Pointe Way in Carson City, with a community wellness fair and blood drive.

Several wellness vendors in Carson City attended the event and provided information to visitors on ways they could learn to improve and maintain healthier and more fulfilling lifestyles. Vendors handed out free useful tips and information to fair attendees.

Paradise worked in coordination with United Blood Services, whose Blood Mobile was on site during the four-hour wellness fair.

The Nixdorfs opened Paradise Salon and Wellness Spa in January 2014. Besides a full-service hair and nail salon, Paradise is also home to Spear Me body piercing, a warm and therapeutic adults-only saltwater pool with jacuzzi, infrared dry sauna, as well as massage therapy and facial services upstairs.

The space at 3430 Executive Pointe Way off East College Parkway used to be a physical therapy clinic before the Nixdorfs opened Paradise in the space.
